Rise & Shine

You take your time getting up because you are still a little stiff from yesterday's ride. But a long hot shower works out the kinks and you feel refreshed and ready as you head for breakfast. Breakfast starts with hot, strong coffee and fresh orange juice. Today you skip the blueberry pancakes to have a made to order omelette with a side of hash browns and whole grain toast. A few pieces of fresh fruit round it all out.

Hit the Trail

Everyone meets at the barn where your loyal steed is saddled and ready. Today you ride through the fields above the barn and do a little galloping, then circle the lake by the lodge. A hot lunch at the lodge and a little relaxation on the porch, and you are ready to go. You follow your wrangler up to Green Lake to check on the cows you moved yesterday. A few moments are taken to snap pictures. You can see for nearly 40 miles in each direction over valleys, rivers, foothills and mountains.

Kick Back & Relax

After returning to the barn, you brush your horse out to reward him for his fine effort and  you head for a cold beer. The bar has an outstanding selection, and despite your best efforts, you still have many flavors to try. Hors d'oeuvres are waiting, also, and the barkeep tells you that you are having filet mignon steaks with all the trimmings for dinner.

After dinner you find yourself staring at the incredible Montana stars, and think: "Gee, this should be called Big Sky country or something..."
